We are pleased to present the next installment of our running series, "Day in the Life of a Judge." This time we will be joined by four judges who work in some of Iowa's mysterious specialty courts. We are very grateful to the following judges, who will be joining us to talk about the good, bad and ugly of serving as a judge for a specialty court.
This event has been approved for one hour of CLE credit, with the full hour receiving diversity credit.
Judge Amy Moore- District 2, Mental Health Court
Judge Amy Zacharias - District 4, Veteran's Court
Judge Lynn Poschner - District 5, "Too Good to Lose" Girls Delinquency Court
Judge Sarah Crane - District 5 - Iowa Business Specialty Court.
The event is via Zoom, though we will have local watch parties available in some of the districts. Check out the ticket options to see if there's a watch party near you. If you sign up for a watch party, please remember that IOWA pays up to $15 per attendee for lunch and we are trying to keep our dues low. If we have consistently high no-show rates we will have to reconsider being able to offer a free lunch at watch parties. Thank you!
